Alois L. Jeske, Jr.            

Design Engineer

Mr. Jeske joined Nielsen Madsen + Barber in 2007 and has over 26 years of experience in civil design, project management, construction observation and land surveying. In joining the firm, Mr. Jeske brought with him many years of knowledge as an Engineering Technician with the Village of Caledonia and Survey Technician with American Surveying. He has extensive design experience with various transportation, institutional, educational, commercial and recreational projects for both public and private sector clients.  Mr. Jeske serves as both a Design and Field Engineer for various site development and transportation rehabilitation projects, a majority of which are in Racine and Kenosha Counties. As a Design Engineer for upcoming RUSD Referendum projects, Mr. Jeske will assist with the design of grading and drainage improvements, parking areas, sidewalks and lawn areas as well as the overall site utility plans (sanitary sewer, water and storm sewer).  He will also be assisting with preparation of project specifications and permitting.

  • Civil Design and Engineering

  • ·Provides drainage design for a variety of projects including storm water management basins, sediment control and outfall structures.

  • ·Develops site grading plans implementing a “zero” mass balance approach.

  • ·Produces detail designs for pavement rehabilitation projects including the retrofitting of drainage systems into the new design.

  • ·Designs site specific traffic signage and marking plans.

  • ·Is the lead contact / designer for the annual City of Racine Parks Department improvement projects.

  • Coordinates permitting of projects through local, county and state review agencies.

Construction Related Services

  • Digger’s Hotline coordination and location for the Village of Yorkville Water and Sewer Utilities.

  • ·Serves as a Field Engineer for the City of Racine Parks Department improvement projects.

  • ·Provides construction management for Racine County Board of Drainage Commissioners projects.
